After a week of rain, the skies finally decided to show some mercy and cleared up (just in time for the celebrations)!
The smell of food cooking, music playing, laugher and the occasional yelp of someone getting dumped into the water dunk tank… the picnic day started off around noon and continued into the late evening. Performance by Yavir dancers kept the older crowd entertained while the younglings found themselves bouncing on the various bouncy castles, running around in 3-legged races and munching down some delicious churros.
School is officially out and I don’t think there was a better way to officially start off this year’s summer season.
