It was a scorcher of a day on July 13th at Pigeon Lake. The campers at Camp St. Basil needed a break and some time in the water. Our sixth Canada 150 Youth Engaging Youth event was taking all these campers to Ma-Me-O Beach for some fun in the sun. We played a couple group games like human knot, meltdown tag, Alaskan baseball, poop deck and FFEACH. Later, the campers had free time in the water and got some freezies to enjoy.
Afterwards, we were able to surprise the campers with ice cream from Daisy McBeans at Pigeon Lake Village before we went back to camp. They were all super excited for the treat and it was a lovely end to this event.
