Vegreville Pysanka Festival

This upcoming weekend (July 7th-9th) the 44th annual Vegreville Pysanka Festival will be kicking off. There is free main gate admission for this event. Be sure to come out to see some amazing performances, some sponsored by the UCC Youth Engaging Youth project. There will also be a marketplace and artist’s market to shop at before you go to the evening zabavas on Friday and Saturday. There will also be food vendors to enjoy during your days at the festival. There will be a Pioneer Village as well as workshops to make necklaces and headpieces. Canada’s National Riding and Dancing Cossacks will be presenting a Cossack Camp Life for everyone to enjoy. Don’t forget to check out all the kids activities too, such as, petting zoos, crafts, bouncy castles, pysanka making and more! This festival is filled to the brim with activities to do and things to see. This will be our fifth Alberta Youth Engaging Youth event for this summer and Canada 150. Make sure you check it out and don’t miss out!!
