On August 20th, the Sudbury branch of UNF will be having a picnic to celebrate Canada’s 150 years and Ukrainian Independence Day at their camp on Richard Lake. Members potential members and friends are invited to participate both Ukrainian and non Ukrainian. Many are members of our Ukrainian Dancing School Veslka and are youth.
Join us between 1 PM and 3 PM for corn, smokies, hotdogs, watermelon and freebies. There will be a flag raising at 2:30 pm where there will be a brief acknowledgment of 150 years of Canada and The contributions of Canadians of Ukrainian decent as well as a statement regarding Ukrainian independence. Games for children will take place through out the afternoon.
